AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION/DIRECTIONS

Airport Transportation Options

We've taken the guesswork out of your transportation logistics to our beautiful Colorado mountains! PostNet has pre-negotiated transportation for Thrive attendees with the Epic Mountain Express.

For just $49 per person each way, Epic Mountain Express offers a shuttle service between Denver and Summit County (Keystone) every 90 minutes starting at 8:30am, with the last shuttle departing at 11pm from Denver International Airport.

Please allow approximately 2.25 hour for the drive in the event there is traffic or construction. Complimentary WiFi is included in your trip through the mountains; reservations are encouraged. For more information, please visit www.epicmountainexpress.com.

Relax and enjoy the Colorado scenery from the shuttle!

Epic Mountain Express’ guest service counter is in the main terminal at Denver International Airport. Collect your luggage and head to the counter, located near North Security and the International Arrivals doors. This is the northeast area of the main terminal.

Other transportation options include rental cars from DIA. Denver International Airport has more than 10 major rental car companies serving Colorado travelers.  Car rental agencies are located on airport property and provide courtesy shuttle service to and from the main terminal.  Shuttle pick-up and drop-off can be found on Level 5, Island 4, outside doors 505-513 (east side) and 504-512 (west side). Rental car companies include Hertz, National, Enterprise, Budget, Dollar, Alamo, Avis and Thrifty.

Driving Directions from the Denver International Airport (DEN) to Keystone, Colorado:

  • Exit Airport via Peña Boulevard and head south for 11 miles. Follow the signs for I-70 West. Peña Blvd will directly connect with I-70
  • Marge onto I-70 West and continue for approximately 80 miles
  • Take the Dillon/Silverthorne Exit #205
  • Turn Left on to US Hwy 6
  • Follow the signs for Keystone, driving another 8 miles to the Keystone Conference Center.

If you would rather have a more scenic drive, follow these directions (it will take a bit longer as you will be driving on a windy road to the top of the Continental Divide over a 12,000' peak). Note, this drive is not for the faint-hearted. If there is inclement weather (rain, snow or sleet), we suggest you use the I-70 route through Dillon/Silverthorn:

  • Exit Airport via Peña Boulevard and head south for 11 miles. Follow the signs for I-70 West. Peña Blvd will directly connect with I-70
  • Merge onto I-70 West and continue for approximately 80 miles to exit #216 (Loveland Pass, Hwy 6)
  • Follow Hwy 6 for approximately 37 miles. There are great views at the top, you'll pass Arapahoe Basin ski area and be dropped into the town of Keystone at the bottom of the road.
  • When you get to Keystone, follow Hwy 6 to St. Johns Road, turn right and then an immediate left on Lone Pine Road to reach the Keystone Conference Center.
